For this reason, volunteers are required to make an initial donation before beginning their volunteer placement. This contribution helps support our programmes and the communities we serve.

The donation is not a payment for volunteering. It is a contribution towards the Foundation’s work and helps us meet the costs associated with community activities, administration, safeguarding, and programme support.

The required donation amount and any additional costs will be explained clearly during the application process. Volunteers are also responsible for their own personal expenses, including travel, accommodation, meals, visas, insurance, and other costs where applicable.

Certificate of Appreciation

At the end of a successful volunteer placement, volunteers will receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Walk of Life Foundation – Uganda.

The certificate recognises the time, skills, commitment, and contribution made during the volunteer period. Where appropriate, we may also provide a reference or confirmation of service based on the volunteer’s participation and conduct.
